History

  • 1965: Lake Forest Park Library opens when the City contracts with KCLS to provide library services at the Lake Forest Park Towne Centre
  • 1970: Library moves into a larger space at the mall
  • 1996: New, 3,800-square-foot space opens on the main level
  • 2012: Opening of 5,841-square-foot remodeled and expanded library on lower level

Lake Forest Park Library Advisory Board

Library Advisory Boards are established by individual cities that have annexed to the King County Library System (KCLS). Members of these community boards are appointed by and serve in an advisory capacity to City officials on matters regarding the KCLS community library they represent.
